L'ikat est un tissu indien que j'adore. Il y a des imitations qu'on peut trouver dans le commerce mais le rouge que j'ai utilisé a été fabriqué en Inde de façon artisanale, donc la teinture a été ajoutée après application de réserves. Il est plutôt fin, mais en thermocollant le buste et en doublant toute la robe le rendu est beau et confortable.
C'est un couple de passionnés de textiles indiens qui les importe et les vend là.

Ikat is just the kind of Indian fabric I love. Imitations are made on an industrial scale but the red one I found online here was made using traditional methods. It's rather sheer so I used fusible interfacing for the bust and lined the whole dress to make it prettier and more comfortable.
